Impala Terminals completes USD425 million debt financing

Impala Terminals has raised USD425 million through a five-year debt financing, which comprises a USD142 million Term Loan and a USD283 million Revolving Credit Facility from a syndicate of eight international banks. This represents an increase of USD175 million from the current debt facility size.

 

Impala Terminals will deploy the financing to support its business growth and potential acquisitions, alongside the refinancing of existing debt and for general corporate purposes.  The financing contains an accordion option allowing the company to increase the overall facility to a maximum USD550 million.

 

Guillaume de Contenson, Chief Financial Officer for Impala Terminals commented: “We are delighted to have concluded our second syndicated loan with a strong pool of banks. The refinancing will support the continued growth of the business.”

 

The bank syndicate included ING Capital LLC, The Bank of Nova Scotia, Banco Santander, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, London Branch, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria S.A., Citibank, N.A., London Branch, Banco de Sabadell, S.A. and Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank Limited.

Mandated Lead Arrangers and Bookrunners were ING Capital LLC, The Bank of Nova Scotia and Banco Santander, with ING Capital LLC acting as Facility and Security Agent.
